Feeling bloated and just plain unhealthy? Then try my Detox Shake recipe that I concocted for my recent book Ancient Remedies.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup steamed carrots
  • ½ apple, steamed
  • 12 ounces water
  • handful of spinach
  • 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
  • 34 ice cubes


Instructions

  1. Steam carrots and apple for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water to cool down.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend until smooth, adding water to make less thick if desired.
