Steve Biro is a Canadian amateur photographer who took photos at the Canadian Raptor Conservatory when a magnificent bird named Bruce was released and flew across the lake toward him. A perfectly timed and symmetrical photograph shows the full range of the bird’s wings as well as its reflection in the lake.
A photo of a bald eagle flying and with both wings touching the water became a hit and sparked great interest on social networks.
Canadian amateur photographer Steve Bureau said he was amazed at the worldwide reactions to his bald eagle photo, which he recorded at the Canadian Bird Conservatory and posted to a Facebook photo group.
The photo of a bird of prey with its pervasive eyes is very interesting and unusual. It is one of the hundreds of photos the Biro took that day. But decided to share it on social media.
Biro says the eagle, which is accustomed to photographers visiting the birds’ rehabilitation and research center in Ontario, looked upset at the place where it was housed with its camera.
There is no doubt that the photo is gorgeous. But what is most striking is the fact that the bird looks directly at the camera in a very penetrating way. Steve shared the photo on his Facebook profile and many commented that the eagle was piercing the viewer’s soul. The photo was also shared on Reddit and has since become a real viral hit. With many honing Steve’s photographic skills.
- The eagle rises perfectly, with both wings touching the water. This photo really impressed me, and I find it more special than the others. But I didn’t expect it to resonate with people like this. He was trying to drive me away from where I was standing. And I could feel the breeze from his wings as he flew over me. The other people who were there were panting as it crossed my head. It was really exciting – Steve told the BBC.
